Platform Engineer (Kubernetes & Cloud)

About the role

We are building a European cloud computing platform powered by 100% renewable energy. As a Platform Engineer you will own the design, operation and continuous improvement of our self‑hosted Kubernetes environment, ensuring it scales reliably for AI‑driven workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Build, operate and evolve self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters, handling deployment, automation, scaling, upgrades and production operations.
• Maintain platform reliability through on‑call participation, incident response and troubleshooting.
• Manage Kubernetes networking, observability, storage and platform services.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Ansible, GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment processes.
• Operate and troubleshoot Linux systems, container platforms and distributed infrastructure.
• Implement Kubernetes networking and security best practices, including cluster hardening and access controls.
• Leverage AI‑assisted engineering tools to boost automation, operations and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience operating production Kubernetes environments.
• Hands‑on experience managing self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters end‑to‑end, including upgrades and scaling.
• Proven track record in on‑call rotations and production incident management.
• Strong background in infrastructure automation with Ansible, GitOps and CI/CD.
• Solid Linux administration and debugging skills.
