About the role

As the Platform Craft & Activation Director at dentsu Finland, you will shape the future of digital media buying by turning strategy into high‑impact activation. You will lead the creation of a next‑generation activation model that combines technology, data, and expertise to deliver smarter, faster, and more effective media solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive dentsu Finland’s activation model across DSP, social and emerging platforms.
• Identify, test and implement new tools, technologies and automation opportunities, including APIs and data integrations.
• Lead the transition from manual execution to scalable, intelligent activation workflows.
• Set standards for best‑in‑class media buying, ensuring campaigns are built, optimized and reported with the highest quality.
• Build, inspire and develop a high‑performing team of activation specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with digital planners, analytics and tech teams to deliver seamless end‑to‑end solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with key media platforms and stay ahead of ecosystem innovations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in digital media activation or platform‑focused roles.
• Deep understanding of modern media buying, DSPs and social platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with API‑based integrations and automation technologies.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on performance and continuous improvement.
• Ability to translate complex platform capabilities into clear, actionable processes.
