People Technology Lead

About the role

Verda is building a European AI cloud powered by 100% renewable energy. As the company scales internationally, we need a People Technology Lead to own and evolve our People systems, data, and analytics, turning manual processes into scalable, AI‑augmented workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Own Verda’s HRIS as the system of record – configuration, workflows, permissions, and data model.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end People Ops experiences, creating self‑service journeys for employees and managers.
• Maintain people data integrity through standards, audits, and reliable reporting.
• Build and manage integrations across the People tech stack (HRIS, payroll, ATS) with IT, Finance, and external providers.
• Automate the employee lifecycle – onboarding, changes, off‑boarding – using AI to handle routine queries.
• Develop reporting, analytics, and dashboards for managers and leaders.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, data privacy, access controls, and audit‑ready records across multiple countries.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning or heavily administering an HRIS, with a focus on systems and data.
• Hands‑on expertise in configuring modern HRIS platforms and building scalable workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Comfort working in a fast‑growing, build‑it‑all environment and collaborating across functions.
