Mechatronics Technician – Helsinki

About the role

We are looking for a Mechatronics Technician to join our team in Helsinki. The role involves supporting the maintenance and fault‑diagnosis of rail vehicles and ensuring the reliable operation of rolling stock.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve faults on rail vehicles and rolling stock.
• Provide engineering support for technical issues related to rolling stock.
• Collaborate with engineers and component‑supplier specialists to obtain technical assistance for fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Report data on claims and work performed to internal systems.

Required profile

• Experience in the electrical, automation, mechanical or service industry.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings and technical documentation.
• Problem‑solving skills for technical issues.
• Familiarity with measurement and diagnostic tools used in electrical and mechanical sectors.
• No contraindications for working with live equipment or at heights.
• Advanced level of English (mandatory); knowledge of Finnish is optional.
• Higher education in a technical field such as mechatronics, electrical engineering or automation.
