Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

The Strategy & Transformation unit at KONE is looking for a Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions to support the execution of M&A transactions and integration activities across the deal lifecycle. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and frontline M&A teams to drive high‑quality decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross‑functional project delivery across transaction and integration activities.
• Manage project execution and coordinate multiple stakeholders to meet key milestones.
• Develop business cases, financial models and valuation analyses for potential targets.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities with legal, finance, tax, HR and other functions.
• Support deal execution, including preparation of materials, analyses and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Contribute to transaction negotiations, documentation and post‑deal integration planning.
• Monitor performance and value creation of acquired businesses.
• Help continuously improve KONE’s M&A processes, tools and reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (e.g., M.Sc. in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory or strategy consulting.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret financial statements and assess value drivers.
• Proven experience supporting M&A transactions and integrations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to take initiative and deliver results in a fast‑paced international environment.
• Strong analytical skills and flexibility to adapt to transaction‑driven timelines.
