Manager, Global Workforce Planning Excellence

About the role

Amer Sports is seeking a Manager to lead its Global Workforce Planning Excellence function. The role sits at the intersection of HR, Finance and business leadership, driving strategic workforce planning across brands, regions and group functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end workforce planning cadence, including long‑range strategic planning, annual business planning and quarterly forecasting.
• Lead change‑management initiatives for new planning processes and tools, creating communication strategies and training programs to maximise adoption.
• Ensure compliant usage of workforce data and oversee access management.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the workforce planning process and planner experience, maintaining playbooks and best‑practice documentation.
• Establish and monitor planning policies, forecast timelines, data‑quality standards and centralized assumptions to guarantee accurate global plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with HR and Finance stakeholders worldwide, acting as the primary liaison.
• Partner with system administration to scale the planning platform and implement technical solutions.
• Support strategic projects such as driver‑based scenario modelling, variance analysis and other HR‑related analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross‑functional processes, preferably in HR or Finance.
• Hands‑on experience with workforce planning, forecasting and budgeting.
• Strong program and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and accuracy.
