Logistics Manager – Data Centre Construction

About the role

Griffdon Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead all logistics activities on a major hyperscale data centre campus in Helsinki. The role is site‑based and focuses on planning, coordinating and executing material flow across multiple concurrent construction areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse, logistics and material handling operations for the project.
• Develop site logistics strategies aligned with project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate deliveries from suppliers, manufacturers, freight providers and internal teams.
• Oversee material receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, inventory control and distribution.
• Implement efficient material tracking systems and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety regulations.
• Support digital logistics platforms such as Procore, ACC and other inventory management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity and cost control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, materials or warehouse management within construction, industrial or data‑centre projects.
• Proven ability to manage large material volumes in complex construction environments.
• Strong planning, organisational and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full driving licence.
