Lead Technical Solution Designer

About the role

Join KONE's IT Digital Enabling Platforms, Data Movement and Integrations team to design and support cloud‑based data integration projects that enable scalable, automated pipelines and self‑service capabilities for users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, application owners, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify business needs and uncover integration opportunities.
• Create fit‑for‑purpose designs for prioritized items, considering functional and non‑functional aspects.
• Own the end‑to‑end IT solution design for integration assets.
• Lead requirement‑gathering workshops and translate needs into technical specifications.
• Manage development and testing with implementation partners.
• Support the product owner in updating product roadmaps and prioritising backlogs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product design or software development with a strong background in enterprise application integration.
• Proven track record delivering IT projects in agile environments.
• Analytical, innovative and curious mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, agile approach.
• Experience with SAP or Salesforce is an asset.
• Understanding of agentic AI concepts, MCPs and AI‑driven software development.

Required skills

• Cloud‑native architecture and AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EventBridge).
• Hands‑on cloud engineering, data integration and API or messaging‑based solution design.
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce platforms.
• Knowledge of agentic AI, MCPs and AI‑driven development.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification (preferred).
