Lead Developer

About the role

Our award‑winning tech community is looking for lead developers to join us in Helsinki. As a Lead Developer at Reaktor you will own the full software development lifecycle, help your team succeed and deliver high‑quality results for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for the client, answering questions and ensuring delivery quality.
• Collaborate with client tech and business teams to align stakeholders and guarantee successful outcomes.
• Design and implement new features across front‑end, back‑end and database layers, coordinating required infrastructure.
• Improve team workflows, promote optimal processes and support a healthy work‑life balance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster future collaborations.
• Guide the team in adopting and following agile practices.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of relevant experience across back‑end, front‑end and operations.
• Proven team‑lead and consulting experience with multiple client stakeholders.
• Strong ability to provide clarity in ambiguous situations and solve complex problems.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting, either at the office or on client premises.
