Lead Consultant / Architect - Document Control and Engineering Information Management

About the role

OpenText is seeking a Lead Consultant/Architect to design and deliver Engineering Information Management and Document Control solutions for global engineering clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex business needs into scalable technical architectures while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Engineering Information Management and Document Control solutions across complex enterprise environments.
• Architect scalable OpenText ECM landscapes aligned with customer requirements.
• Design and implement integrations with SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and engineering systems such as CAD, CAE, GIS, and Primavera.
• Configure and manage cloud‑based proof‑of‑concept environments for workshops and validation phases.
• Collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams in a hybrid work setting.
• Contribute to methodology improvements and product enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of enterprise software implementation and solution delivery experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise with OpenText Content Server, Extended ECM, or similar ECM platforms.
• Integration experience with SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CAD, CAE, GIS, Primavera.
• Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, XML, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as C, C++, C#, OScript, or web services.
• Understanding of system architecture, integration patterns, and enterprise application landscapes.
