HR Manager – Europe (Finland based)

About the role

Energy Storage is seeking an HR Manager for Europe to lead day‑to‑day HR operations and employee programs across ten countries. Based in Finland (Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku), you will partner with regional HR managers and report to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Key responsibilities

• Implement annual HR programs and initiatives across the European region.
• Support compensation review processes and ensure consistent HR policy application.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns while ensuring compliance with local employment laws and collective agreements.
• Lead employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
• Coordinate performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and employee development.
• Drive regional recruitment, workforce planning and employer branding efforts.
• Lead learning and development programs for all regions.

Required profile

• Experience managing HR operations across multiple European countries.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, collective agreements and HR compliance.
• Proven ability to support managers on performance, attendance, conduct and workplace issues.
• Experience leading employee engagement, talent management and recruitment initiatives.
