HR Manager – Europe (Finland based)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Manager for Europe to lead day‑to‑day HR operations and employee programs across ten countries. Based in Finland (Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku), you will support a 500‑employee joint venture focused on grid‑scale battery solutions and renewable energy services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement annual HR programs and initiatives across the European region.
• Support compensation review processes and ensure consistent HR policy application.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, and compliance with employment laws and collective agreements.
• Lead regional employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and inclusion activities.
• Coordinate performance management, talent reviews, succession planning and employee development.
• Drive regional recruitment, workforce planning and onboarding in partnership with hiring managers.
• Lead learning and development programs for all regions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR operations for a multi‑country organization.
• Strong knowledge of European employment legislation and collective agreements.
• Ability to partner with regional HR managers and provide high‑quality support to employees and managers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
