HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will be the primary HR leader for Kraton’s Oulu manufacturing site, joining the plant leadership team to drive performance, engagement and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR guidance on workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement.
• Partner with site leaders to align people initiatives with business priorities.
• Coach managers on leadership development, performance management and change.
• Lead employee and labor‑relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions and grievance handling.
• Manage Finnish change negotiations and workforce restructuring projects.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and talent development for technical and professional roles.
• Drive HR digitalisation, automation and continuous‑process improvement, promoting self‑service tools and standardised processes.
• Utilise HR metrics and analytics to support data‑driven decisions.
• Coordinate HR administration, payroll, benefits and vendor activities while ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or unionised environment.
• Proven track record partnering with site leadership teams.
• Strong knowledge of Finnish employment legislation and collective agreements.
• Experience leading Finnish change negotiations and handling complex employee‑relations cases.
