HR Business Partner – Iittala Factory & Hämeenlinna Distribution

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on HR Business Partner to support our Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre. You will work closely with daily operations, acting as a trusted HR partner for managers and employees, providing practical guidance and supporting fair people practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first HR contact for managers and employees at Iittala Factory and Hämeenlinna Distribution Centre.
• Support managers on performance, absence, wellbeing, conduct, working arrangements and team situations.
• Provide guidance on Finnish employment legislation, collective agreements, company policies and local HR practices.
• Work with employee representatives, support negotiations and workplace cooperation.
• Assist Factory Management with people plans, resourcing, recruiting and capability development.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR processes, annual cycles and policy follow‑up.
• Maintain high‑quality HR data, reporting, audits and follow‑up activities.
• Collaborate with Nordic HR colleagues to share learnings and align practices.
• Contribute to local and Nordic HR projects requiring hands‑on input.

Required profile

• Broad experience as HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist, preferably in an operational environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of employee relations, Finnish employment legislation and collective agreements.
• Proven ability to coach and advise managers in complex day‑to‑day HR situations.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in Finnish and English.
