Head of Compensation & Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Compensation & Benefits to lead the design and delivery of global reward practices for Lindström. Based in Helsinki (or another Lindström location), you will shape compensation and benefits programmes that attract, retain and motivate talent while supporting sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement compensation and benefits programmes that balance global consistency with local needs.
• Drive pay equity and transparency initiatives using data and insights.
• Lead annual compensation review cycles and oversee reward governance processes.
• Develop and harmonise incentive schemes that support performance and business growth.
• Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance and business leaders across operating countries.
• Monitor market trends, salary surveys and benchmarking data.
• Maintain global job architecture, grading structures and salary bands.
• Own and develop the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Benefits modules and related reward processes.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in compensation and benefits or total rewards, preferably in a global environment.
• Relevant degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience developing reward programmes, compensation structures and incentive schemes.
• Strong understanding of pay transparency, compliance and benchmarking practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience working with compensation data, modelling and HR systems.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions and countries.
• Fluent business English and strong communication skills.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Benefits is an advantage.
