Global Data Regulatory Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for a Global Data Regulatory Business Partner to join Ramboll’s Group Business Integrity, Data and Information Security function in Espoo. The role bridges legal complexity and practical implementation, focusing on data privacy while also supporting AI governance and NIS2 compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project support to business units and geographies, assisting with assessments, implementation and risk identification related to privacy, AI and NIS2.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, clearly communicating regulatory expertise to internal teams, work councils and external partners.
• Handle data subject rights requests and support data‑breach management processes.
• Identify and drive internal process improvements, occasionally leading larger‑scale improvement projects.
• Support the Global Data Regulation Programme by maintaining processing records, reviewing vendors and addressing ad‑hoc regulatory queries.
• Assist process owners with personal data processing requirements and contribute to annual audit activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law or a related field with relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data‑privacy activities, preferably in an international organisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Methodical, thorough and capable of handling competing priorities.
• Professional proficiency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E or AIGP are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EU data‑privacy regulations (GDPR) and related compliance frameworks.
• Understanding of AI governance principles and NIS2 security requirements.
• Experience with data‑subject rights handling and data‑breach response processes.
