Global Credit & Risk Controller

About the role

Evac is seeking a commercially minded Global Credit & Risk Controller to lead credit risk management across its worldwide operations. Reporting to the VP Group Treasury, you will partner with Finance, Sales and Shared Services to balance risk mitigation with business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the Group Credit Policy, governance framework and approval processes.
• Monitor global credit exposure, customer risk and overdue balances, ensuring timely action to reduce risk and improve cash collection.
• Support commercial teams on major customer opportunities and complex credit decisions.
• Lead regular credit reviews and drive accountability for overdue reduction across business lines.
• Identify portfolio and concentration risks across customers, sectors and geographies.
• Standardise and continuously improve credit control processes globally.
• Oversee guarantees and trade finance policies, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
• Deliver insightful reporting and analytics on DSO, overdue debt and overall credit performance.

Required profile

• Experience in credit risk, credit control, treasury or working capital management within a global or multinational business.
• Strong understanding of credit policy, exposure management and risk governance.
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels while building strong cross‑functional relationships.
• Analytical, commercially aware and comfortable translating data into business decisions.
• Knowledge of trade finance, guarantees and related financial risk considerations.
