Electrical Site Manager – High Voltage Substation Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the electrical construction of high‑voltage substation EPC projects across Finland, Norway and other European locations. The role involves planning, coordinating and executing all electrical installation activities while ensuring safety, schedule adherence and compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site electrical construction activities, supervise subcontractors, labour and installation teams, and sequence works in line with the project programme.
• Oversee installation of HV, MV and LV systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards; manage isolations, energisation processes and permit systems.
• Coordinate electrical work with civil, mechanical and commissioning teams, lead site coordination meetings and manage interdisciplinary interfaces.
• Monitor installation quality, support inspections, testing and commissioning readiness, and resolve defects or non‑conformances.
• Track project progress against schedule and productivity targets, identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions; provide regular updates to the Project Director.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience on high‑voltage substation, transmission or power infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in HV testing, commissioning and energisation procedures.
