Electrical Project Manager

About the role

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex electrical systems for large‑scale projects in Helsinki. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive project performance from start to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete Electrical Systems package, including design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Lead a team of engineers and supervisors, coordinating with other disciplines to avoid schedule impacts.
• Oversee site safety in partnership with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, maintaining the safety file throughout the project.
• Drive a strong Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental culture and manage site QA documentation.
• Control the project schedule in line with client and consulting engineer requirements.
• Monitor and report all costs related to the electrical package, sub‑contractors, materials, plant and equipment.
• Coordinate sub‑contractor activities, track progress, and conduct weekly progress meetings.
• Manage the “In Progress” snagging system, ensuring timely punch‑list closure.
• Prepare and deliver final project documentation, including O&M manuals, safety files and final accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading electrical construction projects on site.
• Strong knowledge of site safety, QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and subcontractor performance.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
