Electrical Package Manager - Data Center Construction

About the role

A leading contractor, experts in delivering mission-critical projects, is looking for an Electrical Package Manager to join its expanding team in Finland. The role covers the full lifecycle of the electrical package, from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing and commissioning, overseeing subcontractors and site teams while working closely with clients and project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the electrical systems package from design coordination to installation, testing and commissioning
• Oversee site safety with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor, including setup, management and close-out of the safety file
• Promote and maintain a strong QHSE culture within the team
• Work with the Project Manager, consulting engineers and the client to manage the schedule and ensure timely delivery
• Manage all costs of the electrical package: team, subcontractors, material deliveries and goods receipting, plant and equipment, variations and valuations
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and supervise subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and manpower
• Issue direct labour and subcontractor hours to the time administrator, and issue weekly cost and progress reports internally and externally
• Schedule material deliveries, track them and maintain a weekly project photographic diary

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
• Proven project management experience, preferably on large-scale projects such as data centers, pharmaceutical or industrial projects
• Track record of coordinating and managing complex electrical and mechanical systems projects
• Experience handling industrial relations matters and in design and build projects
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
