DevOps Lead

About the role

You will shape the future of software development at Danfoss Drives by defining the technical direction for a platform used by more than 500 developers. The role connects DevOps, data and AI to create an intelligent development ecosystem that enables faster delivery, higher quality and smarter automation.

Key responsibilities

• Set technical direction and standards for DevOps services to improve engineering quality and platform consistency.
• Build and evolve a data platform and semantic layer to make engineering data accessible for AI‑driven insights and automation.
• Optimize cloud‑based development infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security and cost efficiency.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to increase speed, stability and developer productivity.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across distributed teams to strengthen technical capabilities and drive platform adoption.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading DevOps or platform engineering initiatives in large‑scale, complex environments.
• Strong coding and scripting abilities (Python, Bash, PowerShell) plus experience with a general‑purpose language such as Go, Rust or C#.
• Hands‑on experience with private and public cloud platforms (HPE‑GLPC, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub).
• Experience with containerised workloads, Agentic AI tools (GitHub Copilot SDK) and lake‑house platforms (Databricks, Spark).
• Ability to design scalable architectures, work with distributed systems and provide clear technical guidance.
