Deployment Strategist

About the role

Qutwo, a European AI lab for the quantum era, is looking for a Deployment Strategist. The role sits in the Deployment function (part of Business Development) and connects BD, R&D, the Qutwo OS product and the customer's teams. It turns ambitious framing into executed outcomes, customer success and account expansion. The main hub is in Helsinki, with time spent at client sites; the company also looks for candidates in Sweden and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Own the success of the customer portfolio and build the ways of working around Account Leadership teams.
• Build and lead the customer motion to drive sales and adoption, and co-author the partnership scope with the customer's senior sponsors.
• Translate vague enterprise ambition into a clear problem statement for Qutwo's R&D team.
• Run the multi-disciplinary team across Qutwo and the customer, hold the timeline, value hypothesis and weekly cadence, and make the calls when scope, sequencing or resourcing changes.
• Act as the bilingual face of the partnership: explain the work in technical terms to the customer's labs and in P&L terms to executives.
• Design the next workstreams, business units or geographies after each partnership ends.
• Capture lessons from each deployment and feed them back into the product, BD's pitch and future plans.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise engagements end to end, ideally in regulated industries such as pharma, finance, energy, defence-adjacent or public sector.
• AI/ML background and genuine technical fluency: able to read papers and debate architectures, though no production coding is required.
• Track record of holding executive relationships at C-1 and C-suite level in large enterprises.
• Comfort with ambiguity, scope changes and multi-stakeholder politics.
• Nice to have: quantum computing, optimization, simulation or hybrid AI background; prior P&L or practice-leadership ownership; Finnish, Swedish or German.
