Country Manager – Finland & Duty‑Free Scandinavia

About the role

The DANNEMANN Group seeks a dynamic Country Manager for Finland and Duty‑Free Scandinavia. You will lead market strategy, drive commercial growth, and ensure brand consistency across the region while working closely with local importers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and evolve market strategies and annual plans for Finland and Duty‑Free Scandinavia.
• Coordinate marketing activities, consumer and trade plans, and POS visibility within legal limits.
• Develop the brand portfolio and generate creative communication ideas with distributors.
• Collect and analyse market data, shipments, sales, and competitor activity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and deviation analysis for marketing and promotion.
• Advise importers on product storage, assortment optimisation, and quality assurance.
• Conduct regular visits to top tobacco stores for trade training and merchandising support.
• Maintain liaison with International Brand Manager and report to Area Director and Global Brand Directors.
• Prepare KPIs, budget control, and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in market strategy, brand management, or commercial leadership within consumer goods or tobacco.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and competitor insights.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills to work with distributors, importers, and internal teams.
• Ability to operate within strict legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Leadership capability to drive cross‑functional initiatives and achieve sales targets.
