Consulting Specialist - Packaging & Paper

About the role

The Consulting Specialist (Associate) will join our Packaging & Paper practice in Helsinki, supporting leading companies in the sector to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth. You will work closely with senior consultants and client teams to shape strategy, improve productivity and drive innovation across a range of packaging and paper substrates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or co‑lead workstreams, guiding junior team members through analysis and delivery.
• Collect and analyse market, operational and financial data to generate actionable insights.
• Develop hypotheses, test them with quantitative methods, and formulate strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and present findings to client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of value.
• Contribute to internal knowledge assets, workshops and industry conferences.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, economics, business or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced consulting environment and travel as needed.
