Construction Planner

About the role

Collen is seeking a Construction Planner to join its project team and help embed safety, inclusivity and excellence into large‑scale construction programmes. Reporting to the Group Planning Manager, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining and reporting on detailed schedules that drive project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain the overall Project Construction Programme and short‑term, area and trade schedules.
• Integrate procurement, subcontractor and supplier schedules into the master programme.
• Prepare weekly progress reports, Earned Value analyses and S‑Curves for internal and client use.
• Monitor manpower, cost loading and design approval timelines.
• Attend client, subcontractor and lean planning meetings and provide accurate as‑built programmes.
• Support consistency in planning approaches across the project team.

Required profile

• 3rd level Construction qualification.
• 2‑5 years of planning experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Asta Powerproject and MS Project.
• Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
