Civils Superintendent / Manager

About the role

As a Civils Superintendent / Manager at Linesight you will lead civil construction activities across diverse projects, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and delivering high‑quality outcomes. You will work closely with design teams, contractors, and client representatives to drive project execution and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure client/owner statutory obligations are met in line with local legislation, codes and permits.
• Liaise with utilities, local and statutory authorities through the design team and contractor, communicating requirements to Microsoft, the design team and contractors.
• Support project delivery by coordinating with project managers and client representatives and implementing key project processes.
• Review and approve construction, site logistics, health & safety, and quality plans before construction starts.
• Maintain and update the Project Risk Register, implement mitigation plans and contribute to quantitative risk analysis.
• Develop and enforce quality management procedures, variation and reporting processes.
• Conduct value engineering, optioneering and feasibility studies, providing recommendations for approvals.
• Manage submittals, safety policies, method statements and test certificates, ensuring all statutory and non‑statutory approvals are obtained.

Required profile

• Proven experience ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in civil construction.
• Strong ability to liaise with authorities, design consultants and contractors.
• Demonstrated experience supporting project delivery and implementing project management processes.
• Experience reviewing and approving construction, health & safety and quality plans.
• Knowledge of risk register maintenance, mitigation planning and quantitative risk analysis.
• Background in value engineering, optioneering and managing approvals and certifications.
