Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) / Marketing Director

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic CMO/Marketing Director to shape the brand and drive growth for our emerging online marketplace. Based in Helsinki with a hybrid work model, you will lead the marketing function and partner closely with leadership to influence strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, campaign planning and performance tracking across channels.
• Oversee market research, public‑relations activities and budget management.
• Align marketing initiatives with sales objectives to boost customer acquisition, retention and revenue.
• Build, mentor and manage a high‑performing marketing team in a hybrid environment.
• Set clear KPIs, monitor dashboards and ensure consistent, impactful messaging in all external communications.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in marketing, preferably within growth‑oriented organisations.
• Strong analytical ability with comfort handling marketing metrics, ROI analysis and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (en_US) with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred.
