Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the Information Security function for Tieto Banktech’s Card Personalization Business in Vantaa. You will be the trusted security advisor for management, customers and partners, ensuring that confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical information assets are maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive information security governance, policies and controls.
• Assess and manage risks, business continuity and compliance matters.
• Lead the cybersecurity team and act as a trusted advisor to executives and customers.
• Coordinate incident response and urgent actions during critical security events.
• Support customer engagements, audits and pre‑sales security activities.
• Oversee third‑party and vendor security.
• Promote continuous improvement and security awareness across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven senior security leadership experience in information security, cybersecurity or IT risk.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and verbal.
• Collaborative mindset, viewing security as a business enabler.
