Brand Design Trainee

About the role

Join ICEYE’s Brand & Design team as a Brand Design Trainee and contribute to visual storytelling for a leading space‑tech company. You will work on both static and motion assets, turning complex satellite data into clear, compelling brand communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design static brand materials such as event collateral, digital ads, presentation decks, and internal communications using Figma.
• Support motion design by editing, resizing, and exporting animated social media assets, presentation animations, and hype reels in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Collaborate with Data & Visual Specialists to create clear map and GIS graphics for both static and animated formats.
• Adopt AI‑first workflows (e.g., automated rotoscoping, AI voice enhancement, generative asset creation) to accelerate design iterations.
• Assist with AV studio setup for internal podcasts or vodcasts, handling cameras, lighting, and microphones as needed.
• Maintain organized Figma libraries, design templates, and video project archives.

Required profile

• Design‑focused education or background, eager to apply visual fundamentals in a fast‑moving tech environment.
• Strong interest in space technology, data visualization, and emerging AI tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting, attending the office three days a week.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma for UI/graphic design.
• Experience using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for motion graphics.
• Basic knowledge of GIS or map data visualization.
• Familiarity with AI‑augmented design workflows (e.g., generative assets, automated rotoscoping).
