Banking Data Consultant

About the role

Accenture’s Banking Technology Unit is seeking a Banking Data Consultant to join its cross‑border teams serving Nordic and global clients. You will work on data‑driven initiatives that bridge business objectives and technology solutions, helping banks modernise their data landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Align technical transformation projects with client business goals and processes.
• Act as the banking data expert in client engagements, providing functional expertise.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve data‑related problems and issues.
• Support functional analysis and ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking data roles.
• Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of banking data models and sources.
• Understanding of data from a business perspective, not just technical attributes.
• Experience with legacy data warehousing, data lakes, or modern cloud solutions; Databricks experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High drive, entrepreneurial attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in Finnish and English.
• Resident in Finland.
