Azure Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking Azure Data Engineers, from junior to senior level, to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern lakehouse solutions using Azure, Databricks, and SQL. The role involves integrating data from SAP, databases, APIs and cloud platforms, modernising legacy warehouses and supporting reporting, analytics and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and lakehouse architectures on Azure.
• Integrate data from SAP, databases, APIs and other cloud platforms.
• Modernise legacy data warehouses and optimise performance.
• Contribute to data governance, CI/CD and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with platform, analytics and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT and enterprise data platforms.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse and Azure Functions.
• Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and lakehouse architecture.
• Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
