Azure Cloud Architect

About the role

Evitec Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to strengthen its Azure practice and drive cloud transformation for financial‑service customers. The role blends enterprise architecture, governance, hands‑on solution development, technical leadership, and advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑scale Azure architectures, landing zones and cloud platforms.
• Define and implement cloud governance, security, and operating models using Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC and policy‑as‑code.
• Guide customers through cloud adoption, modernization and transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with GDPR and DORA.
• Drive cost‑optimization and FinOps practices across Azure environments.
• Mentor colleagues and support pre‑sales engagements as a trusted advisor.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and enterprise‑scale platform design.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, security architecture and regulatory requirements for financial services.
• Hands‑on experience building cloud‑native solutions and using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Fluent Finnish and strong English communication skills.
