About the role

The Area Coordinator works across the Helsinki metropolitan area supporting clients in mental health and substance‑abuse services. The position is full‑time, permanent and involves mobile work in various service units, primarily during evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to clients in their daily lives, ensuring safe and respectful care.
• Administer medication, record all actions accurately, and promote holistic wellbeing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify individual client needs and guarantee high‑quality treatment.
• Travel between service locations according to a pre‑defined weekly schedule and attend evening shifts (7 pm–9 pm).

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience with mental health and substance‑abuse clients.
• Qualified as a nursing assistant (lähihoitaja) and registered with the Finnish health authority (Suosikki) or willing to obtain the required card during probation.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish, able to document client interactions precisely.
• Willingness to travel widely across the Greater Helsinki area and work mobile, often with limited face‑to‑face supervision.
