Vice President, Sourcing and Procurement

About the role

Evac is seeking a Vice President of Sourcing and Procurement to lead global sourcing, category strategy, and supplier relationship management. The role oversees both direct and indirect procurement, ensuring material availability, cost efficiency, and supply continuity for customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global sourcing and procurement strategy aligned with group objectives.
• Lead and transform sourcing and procurement teams, driving efficiency and performance improvements.
• Own commercial supplier relationships, manage operational performance, and foster collaboration.
• Manage direct material costs, inflation, and indirect service costs through competitive bidding, RFx processes, and strategic negotiations.
• Create supply‑chain KPIs, mitigate supplier risks, achieve savings targets, and report on procurement spend.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, product lines, and external manufacturing partners.
• Drive business performance metrics such as material cost management, on‑time delivery, and team capability development.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in global sourcing and procurement.
• Proven ability to develop category strategies for direct and indirect spend.
• Strong track record in supplier relationship management and cost optimization.
• Experience managing large, cross‑functional teams and transformation initiatives.
