Tender Controller

About the role

The Tender Controller will provide robust financial control and analysis for projects and tenders, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost management and risk mitigation to support profitable growth within Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration business.

Key responsibilities

• Support tender processes by ensuring accurate cost estimations, financial risk assessments and profitability analyses.
• Develop and maintain financial models for project profitability, cash flow, exposure and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, IFRS standards and relevant legal regulations.
• Collaborate closely with tender managers, sales teams and other stakeholders to provide financial insights for decision‑making.
• Monitor and report on tender project performance KPIs, including exposure, margin analysis and project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in project or tender controlling or a similar financial analysis role.
• Strong understanding of project accounting principles such as percentage of completion and revenue recognition.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and SAP PS modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
