Technical Presales Architect

About the role

IFS is hiring a Technical Presales Architect in Espoo. You will help enterprise customers define, design and adopt modern business platforms based on IFS Cloud, Industrial AI and emerging technologies, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops with customers and partners
• Design solution architectures aligned with IFS Cloud and industry best practices
• Advise on platform architecture, integration patterns, security frameworks, identity management and deployment models (SaaS, private cloud, hybrid cloud)
• Demonstrate how AI, automation and intelligent agents improve productivity and decision-making
• Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up prototyping and customer value
• Partner with executives, enterprise architects and IT leaders on technology strategies and transformation roadmaps
• Act as technical lead in strategic sales cycles, including architecture reviews, security discussions, RFPs, proof-of-concepts and executive presentations
• Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, Customer Success, Product Management and Engineering teams

Required profile

• 5+ years in presales, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technical consulting or similar customer-facing technology roles
• Proven experience designing, positioning and presenting complex enterprise software solutions
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, integration strategies, APIs and security
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf) and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
