Strategic Sourcing Leader - MS

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Leader will drive sourcing activities for assigned product segments, acting as the primary bridge between product development, supplier management, and global sourcing. You will ensure that supply‑chain strategies align with product lifecycle goals and that strategic suppliers meet cost, quality, and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to manage the full product lifecycle from new‑product introduction to end‑of‑life.
• Serve as the main contact for supply‑chain issues, including component obsolescence and quality concerns.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that secure strategic suppliers and achieve target pricing.
• Select preferred suppliers, simplify processes, and control costs while maintaining component quality and platform specifications.
• Integrate engineering, production, and sourcing objectives, promoting standardization across programs.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure technology alignment between supply partners and manufacturing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a commercial, engineering, or technical field (preferred).
• Relevant experience in engineering, sourcing, or manufacturing, preferably within medical‑device development.
• Strong project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work with global stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with ePDM systems.
• Familiarity with Oracle applications.
