Sr. Associate, Surgical Field Sales – Nordics – Advanced Technologies

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to lead surgical field sales for its advanced intraocular lens (IOL) portfolio across the Nordics, with a focus on Finland. The role drives adoption of premium cataract and refractive technologies, builds strong relationships with ophthalmic surgeons and healthcare institutions, and supports the growth of Alcon’s market share.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market‑share expansion of Alcon’s IOL portfolio, including monofocal, toric, multifocal and advanced technology lenses.
• Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with regional and national objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities within strategic accounts and collaborate with the Strategic Account Management Team.
• Build trusted partnerships with cataract and refractive surgeons, clinical staff, procurement teams and healthcare administrators.
• Support customers in creating premium cataract programs, providing consultative guidance on patient pathways, practice workflows and education.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of Alcon’s surgical and IOL portfolio and communicate product benefits and clinical evidence to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate on product evaluations, launches and adoption initiatives, ensuring customers stay informed about new technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ophthalmic or medical device sales within the Nordics region.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute territory business plans.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with surgeons, clinics and key opinion leaders.
• Ability to translate clinical evidence into compelling value propositions.
