Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Mercury offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its growing Talent Acquisition team in Vaasa. You will work in a fast‑paced, international environment, partnering closely with hiring managers to attract top talent for construction and engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for allocated business areas, from vacancy briefing to offer and onboarding.
• Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders to understand current and future talent needs.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, social media, talent networks and other channels.
• Create talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles and provide market insights.
• Screen, assess and interview candidates, ensuring a high‑quality shortlist and excellent candidate experience.
• Coordinate advertising of vacancies through the careers site, ATS and external channels.
• Support recruitment events, career fairs and graduate recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of recruitment experience in an in‑house Talent Acquisition team or agency.
• Proven experience recruiting within construction or engineering sectors.
• Strong direct‑sourcing skills using LinkedIn and social media.
• Ability to build relationships and influence hiring managers at all levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
