Senior Software Developer – Embedded & Application

About the role

Our mission is to profoundly change the standard of care by enabling clinicians to precisely ablate tissue, delivering safe and effective treatments that help patients return to daily life quickly. As a Senior Software Developer you will work across our integrated software platform, from real‑time embedded components close to the hardware to the Windows therapy console used by the clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, program, integrate and verify embedded software in C/C++ using Yocto Linux RTOS and hardware communication interfaces.
• Develop the therapy console and desktop applications in C#/C++ with .NET and/or Qt, including graphical user interfaces.
• Create comprehensive unit tests and employ test‑automation tools to ensure high code quality and reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of professional software development experience with end‑to‑end ownership of technical solutions.
• Hands‑on experience in embedded software development for complex systems.
• Familiarity with Windows platform, multi‑threaded applications and GUI development.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python to support development and testing.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing software for medical devices.
• Knowledge of Yocto Linux and Altera/Intel Nios® soft processors.
• Ability to read and review schematics.
