Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Recordly is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own complex data solutions, architectures and pipelines for its customers. You will work remotely from anywhere in Finland, helping businesses turn data into a competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain large‑scale ELT pipelines and data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft‑based solutions.
• Develop data models (dimensional, Data Vault 2.0) and implement modern architecture patterns like Lakehouse, Medallion or Data Mesh.
• Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into technical designs and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish.
• Based in Finland and able to work remotely full‑time.

Required skills

• Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and CI/CD pipelines.
• dbt, ELT processes, data modeling (dimensional, Data Vault 2.0).
• Data architecture patterns: Lakehouse, Medallion, Data Mesh.
• Real‑time processing tools: Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink.
• BI and semantic layer tools: Power BI, Snowflake semantic layer, Omni.
