Senior Buyer

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Senior Buyer to take tactical responsibility for local key suppliers at its new Critical Power Solutions headquarters in Vantaa, Finland. The role will manage the full sourcing flow from requirement identification through to material delivery, supporting business growth and ensuring supplier resiliency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for new product development projects, including RFQ creation, supplier selection and price negotiations.
• Secure timely sourcing in collaboration with R&D, production and quality teams.
• Develop and maintain an optimal supply base to meet cost, quality and availability targets.
• Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and report monthly savings.
• Coordinate with global procurement, Centre of Excellence sourcing and buyer teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in purchasing and sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.

• Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• SAP procurement module.
