Senior Backend / Full‑Stack Engineer

About the role

F‑Secure is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Full‑Stack) to join its Innovation team. You will help safeguard consumers against scams while delivering an exceptional, user‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and evolve Node.js backend services and APIs.
• Design and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Drive rapid delivery from internal alpha to beta (10k+ users) and production.
• Integrate AI models and third‑party APIs into real user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to prototype, test and iterate.
• Ship features to real users weekly and learn from feedback.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building production‑grade backend systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js and AWS cloud services.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, scalability and performance optimisation.
• Experience with React or frontend development for full‑stack collaboration.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, experimental environment with tight feedback loops.
• Strong sense of ownership – you build, test, ship and learn.
