Senior Accountant – Finnish Entity (OY)

About the role

Skeleton Technologies is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to lead the financial operations of its Finnish entity (OY). You will be the primary accounting owner, ensuring accurate books and supporting the company’s rapid growth in clean‑energy storage.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end accounting execution for Skeleton Technologies OY, including bookkeeping and month‑end close.
• Serve as the main point of contact for external auditors, managing audit preparation and follow‑up.
• Prepare and submit reports to Finnish state institutions, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the Finnish HR team to execute payroll and related compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant in a small to medium entity.
• Experience with production accounting, payroll processing and cross‑border activities is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and Finnish GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Finnish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Knowledge of Finnish GAAP.
• Familiarity with Epicor and/or Rillion (training provided if needed).
