Sales Development Representative – Nordics

About the role

The Sales Development Representative, Akai, drives top‑of‑funnel growth across a defined segment by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers through inbound and outbound prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities via email, phone, social channels, events, and campaigns.
• Research and qualify prospects, understand their needs and readiness to engage.
• Create and execute personalized outreach sequences, including cold‑calling.
• Engage existing customers for cross‑sell or expansion opportunities where applicable.
• Maintain accurate lead and activity data in CRM and sales engagement tools.
• Collaborate with Account Executives for smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to refine lead‑generation processes.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.

Required profile

• Experience in sales development, business development, or outbound commercial roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple channels.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, remote‑friendly environment.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple outreach activities.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding activity and pipeline‑generation targets.
• Comfortable working autonomously and sourcing solutions independently.
• Fluent in English and a Nordics language.

Required skills
