R&D Engineer - Electronics

About the role

Join a dynamic team in Joensuu to work on innovative, high‑quality electronic lock products. You will play a key part in growing the electric‑lock business while collaborating in a strong culture of teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronics for new and existing electric‑lock products.
• Collaborate closely with electronics, embedded‑software and mechanical designers as part of a project team.
• Perform occasional travel related to project activities.

Required profile

• University or AMK degree focused on electronics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics design, schematic and PCB layout.
• Good understanding of verification measurement methods and equipment.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑directed, solution‑oriented attitude and strong desire to become a top expert.
