QA/QC Manager – Minerals Separation Projects

About the role

Metso is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality activities for its Minerals Separation projects. Based in Espoo, Finland, you will ensure that all equipment, suppliers and processes meet Metso’s high standards and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Project Quality Manager on selected projects and develop Project Quality Execution Plans.
• Create equipment QA/QC specifications, manufacturing specifications and review supplier Inspection and Test Plans.
• Approve supplier quality documents such as WPS/PQR, welder certificates and NDT procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and execute Metso, third‑party and customer quality inspections.
• Identify non‑conformities, generate Quality Notifications in SAP and manage corrective actions.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, assess corrective‑action effectiveness and support closure of non‑conformity reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in material or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance/control within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality processes, standards and investigative techniques.
