Project Manager - Embedded Systems

About the role

Epec is looking for an experienced project manager to lead a complex product development project involving several internal and external multinational stakeholders. The role covers budgeting, resource and project planning, reporting, stakeholder management and delivery of agreed objectives. It can be based in Epec's offices in Seinäjoki, Tampere or Turku, with flexible hybrid work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a complex product development project with several internal and external stakeholders
• Handle budgeting, resource and project planning, and project reporting
• Manage stakeholders and deliver agreed project objectives and deliverables

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering large, complex embedded systems development projects with significant business impact
• Several years of experience with large OEM customers and partners, preferably in off-highway, automotive, telecom or similar industries
• Fluent English and Finnish are essential
• Able to see the big picture, handle complex issues under uncertainty, work under pressure and prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent leadership and management skills, and familiarity with working with people from different organisational and cultural backgrounds

Required skills

• Understanding of embedded architectures, RTOS, BSP, API and peripheral integration
• Knowledge of off-highway machines, autonomous and assistance system components, electromobility, connectivity and control systems is advantageous
• Understanding of functional safety is beneficial
