Project Controls Manager

About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the implementation of robust project control systems for a Data Centre Construction project in the Nordics. The role acts as the client’s representative, ensuring contractors and suppliers deliver against scope, schedule, and budget while travelling monthly to Finland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost baselines.
• Track progress against milestones using Primavera P6 and identify risks, driving corrective actions.
• Maintain risk registers and produce regular risk reports.
• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards, including Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Facilitate monthly reporting processes and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage scope changes and contract variations in line with contractual terms.
• Enforce governance frameworks, reporting standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Serve as the primary interface between the client and delivery teams, ensuring transparent communication.
• Mentor and develop junior project controls staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional certification such as APM or PMP is desirable.
• Significant experience in project controls within construction or infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of project controls principles: Earned Value Management, cost control, scheduling, change management, risk management.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Experience using project management and data analysis tools.
