Production Portfolio Planner

About the role

The Production Portfolio Planner will be responsible for pre‑planning production capacity and managing the project portfolio at the Vantaa factory. You will work closely with project management, engineering and production teams from the early stages of a project through to scheduling awarded projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assess feasibility of new projects and create initial production plans.
• Plan initiation and scheduling of new projects in line with existing workload and capacity.
• Evaluate impact of new projects on current production schedules and resources.
• Maintain an overview of current and future production workload, keeping the load balanced.
• Identify overload situations and propose prioritisation, scheduling and resource allocation solutions.
• Participate in project prioritisation, launch decisions and medium‑ to long‑term portfolio planning.
• Update production schedules based on demand changes, material availability and other deviations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, sourcing or supply chain management within manufacturing.
• Understanding of production processes, project management and the links between engineering, materials, purchasing and production.
• Calm, structured and detail‑oriented with strong prioritisation skills.
• Confidence to voice fact‑based decisions and collaborate across functions.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.
